Thoughts on Hosting Love N' Courage Benefit & More by Phoebe Legere

Phoebe Legere shares her thoughts on hosting Love N' Courage Benefit:

"I'm deeply honored to be hosting the Love and Courage Benefit at the Players Club. This benefit is in support of Theater for the New City's Emerging Playwrights program. Hello Mrs. President, my first full-length New York musical, was produced with the support of an Emerging Playwrights grant from TNC.

"Thank you Crystal for giving me a place to create. After my Love and Courage monologue, I'll sing a medley of songs that come from my original feminist musicals produced by Crystal Field and TNC over the years ---including excerpts from "Hello Mrs. President," about the first female president of color (played by rock n roll Hall of Fame legend Laverne Baker) with me as the First Partner, and Shakespeare and Elizabeth, - seen on right with my brilliant co-stars Rhys Tivey and Michael LaPorta."
