WHO: The Foundation for New American Art, a 501
501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to strengthening and nurturing the
artistic and musical spirit of children.
WHAT: The Lower East Side Children’s Chorus is open to ages 8-12. There is no charge for children to participate.
WHERE: Theater for the New City, 155 First Avenue at 10th St.

WHEN: LES Children’s Chorus will meet on
Saturdays from March 2 – April 27, 2019 from 11:00 am to noon.
On Opening Day, March 2nd please come at least
fifteen minutes early to fill out paper work for your child.
If you are interested and your child meets the age requirement please join us at 10:45 March 2 in the Lobby of the Theater for the New City. When we have met your child and the necessary paperwork has been completed, we will begin our rehearsal promptly at 11 am in the theater.

Highly gifted and musical children may be
eligible for additional private music lessons at no cost. Prerequisite for these
lessons will be participation in the LES Children’s Chorus.
The LES Chorus is run by Juilliard and New
England Conservatory trained Conductor and Vocal Coach Phoebe H. Legere.
Thank you for your interest. We look forward to meeting you on March 2 at 10:45 am at 155 First Avenue. The children will receive a healthy snack at 11:30. Please let us know if your child has any dietary restrictions when you fill out your paperwork.
All children will be released at 12 noon only to the responsible
adult listed on your contact paperwork.
