The event is a fundraiser for Ms. Legere’s Foundation For New American Art, a 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization dedicated to helping underserved children in low income communities discover and experience art and music.

musician, composer, and songwriter, “an American Treasure.”
This
modern day troubadour recently clocked more than 4000 miles in the past few
months traveling the country, writing songs along the way in her car or kayak,
pitching her tent as she staked her claim right into our hearts as an
innovative and imaginative storyteller.
