She combines intelligent lyrics and a fusion of French musette, Cajun, pop, rock, folk and jazz into a "roots alternative" stew.”

Ms. Legere has released 15 CDs of original and traditional music including her 2014 album GAY. Her song about endangered Florida frogs,  Hip Hop Frog, was sold to HBO in 2015.

She opened for David Bowie on his National Tour. An American Treasure, this “multi-keyboard, vocal wizard” has been compared to “Beethoven” (Paper Magazine) “Edith Piaf” (Stephen Holden, NY Times) and “Frank Zappa. ” (Billboard)
